Dentist for the Elderly (South of the Netherlands)
- Dental care
- Limburg region, the Netherlands
- Full-time
Do you like working with the elderly and handicapped patients? For the region of Sittard-Geleen, in the southern tip of the Netherlands, we are looking for a dentist with a particular passion for working with the elderly, the handicapped, and other patient groups who live in care homes. We do this in collaboration with Fresh Unieke Mondzorg, the company that organises this unique type of dental care.
What does my job as a dentist in the Netherlands look like?
Rather than working within the confines of a clinic, your work day will consist of going to one of the care homes in the region to provide dental care to the patients there. There, your assistant will prepare everything to make sure you are able to focus on just treating patients during the day.
As an ambulatory dentist, you will travel across the region to visit different care homes and treat their patients. Because of the specific patient groups, it is important that you have a passion for working with older patients, patients who have a handicap, and other patients who may lack the ability to visit a dental clinic for their check-ups and dental issues. While being a dentist in general is a profession that requires patience, empathy and understanding, it is doubly true for this job.
